We would like to thank our Port Colborne elementary schools for their participation in this year’s Peace Poster contest. The theme this year was “Dare to Dream”. These students worked hard to create beautiful pieces of artwork that moved on to the District level to be judged. Each student received a $50 cheque from the Port Colborne Lions Club for being the winning selection at their school. The participants range in age from 11-13 years old. At the District A2 level, which was judged on Tuesday, Zoe from DeWitt Carter won first place. Her poster is now moving on to the MDA (All of Ontario) level to be judged.
